• “he seemed shy until he didn’t”
  
• “it was easy to read him as shy or uncertain, she thought, but he really wasn’t either”
  
• holds blue’s hand basically the second time he sees her it’s not even a legitimate date
• cracks out wiseass remarks on ronan’s sexual orientation all the time
• when gansey’s lowkey freaking out over orla’s bikini top, he instinctively goes to share a look with adam (i mean not that he would have gone to ronan for that but still implies a certain idea of red-blooded young men who’ve discussed this kind of thing before)
• attracted to blue “like a heart attack”, intensely thinks about making out with her
• is acutely aware that ronan “savagely handsome” lynch is physically attracted to him and enjoys the feeling very much (and it’s p obviously mutual anyway, so)

meanwhile ronan lynch:

• looks at adam sneakily whenever he thinks adam isn’t looking, probably composing sonnets over the profile of adam’s nose, believes he is being Very Subtle about everything, good job ronan
• dreams up a present of hand lotion literally concocted by a magical forest because he’s obviously fretting over the fact adam’s hands get chapped, leaves it in his car when adam can’t see him. must protect adam’s clever, beautiful hands
• has a sex dream, wakes up euphoric and ashamed, remains ashamed a very long time, vows he’s never sleeping again (i know this is a more complicated issue and may well be tied into internalized homophobia and ronan’s religious beliefs, but still)

i mean i guess what i’m getting at is that ronan can make all the inappropriate jokes he wants but at the end of the day, when they finally get together, it’s adam fucking parrish that’s gonna get it
